Happy 2024!
Here's to a better year. Perhaps for real this time for all of us, eh?
Fortunately, on my end of things, finances are finally starting to look up again. I'm still planning to keep commissions open, but now on a 'casual' basis, not as emergency commissions. I'm just going to keep the same format of commissions as I've been doing, rather than do something really specific with multiple different prices.
So, to re-iterate, the format is a broad scale of two simple prices:
$10 for sketches (outline, shaded, pencil, pen, digital, you name it!)
or
$20 for full color drawings (any traditional medium like colored pencil, charcoal, & watercolor, or digital)
Canvas size for traditional would be your choice of postcard-style or full page.
Digital size can vary from icons/avatars, signatures, or full canvas size.
Let me know if there's a specific size you'd prefer.
I'm also happy to mail any traditional work to you for no additional charge!
For digital, I'm happy to e-mail you the original drawing file which would include the sketch layer (and other layers if full-color).

Hi all,
This deviantART portfolio revamp is finally refreshed and up-to-date! All future works will be uploaded here.
Now that Inktober is done and I've gotten this updated, I'd like to finally open up my side gig doing art commissions. I'm actually greatly in need of money from commissions at the moment too (I'm behind on some important bills)- so rather than sort out commission sheets and going at a leisurely pace, I'll be doing emergency commissions at a broad scale for two simple prices.
The format is:
$10 for sketches (outline, shaded, pencil, pen, digital, you name it!)
or
$20 for full color drawings (any traditional medium like colored pencil, charcoal, & watercolor, or digital)

Hi all!
I've given this account a refresh to lead it in a more modern direction. I'm no longer using CanineCanvas- especially because I'm delving into stuff other than just canines these days. Paxis is my go-to username just about everywhere on the internet, so I've gone with PaxisPalette as my new DA username from here on out!
I have some odds and ends of different artworks since 2021 that I'll find and post here. Aside from those, I'm earnestly getting back into the habit of drawing again. I miss being a part of the art community, and it's me being my worst enemy here when it comes to not taking part in it again.
So! I'm in the middle of doing my very first Inktober project. I'm not following any pre-determined list though- I'm personally just doing horses in alphabetical order based on whatever sounds good to me. Not only is it helping me form a habit of wanting to do art again, but it's helping me to specialize in one animal I've been wanting to get better at drawing. After this project, I'm going to be re-designing my fursona to a final theme as a dire wolf. I'll get into those details when I actually make the design though, but basically, it'll be the happy medium I've been looking for between my two favorite animals: wolf and horse.
Anyway, I'd like to eventually take this a step up from hobby art to side gig commissions once I'm happier with my art quality. One step at a time, with a big goal in mind. I'm not going to go crazy with the ideas before putting them all into practice. But at least this account is no longer dead! DeviantART is the best place to keep as an online portfolio and art archive, with all the history I have here.
I'll see y'all around~
Not gonna lie, I'd kind of forgot about this site for a bit. I'm trying to get back into making art as a hobby, but it's been slow-going. Sorry for the art dump- it's all the way back to 2020, though tbh it's still not that much for a year's worth of artwork. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I recently (as of a few months ago now) got a new art tablet because my other one completely died, and it's been pretty nice creating digital sketches again! I'm hoping I can keep hold of that motivation and perhaps make a goal of doing one art piece per month at minimum.
I moved my digital art space over to Krita, which I 100% recommend for anyone looking for a free open-source digital art program. I left the world of Adobe and Photoshop after they threw up the subscribe-to-us-forever paywall and got rid of the one-time payments. I also highly recommend the free GIMP program for any kind of image editing and a free program called PureRef for gathering all of your references together. You can overlay your references to stay on top of your screen at all times, and literally just drag, drop, and adjust your references to 100% fit whatever kind of reference workspace you need. Low-key obsessed.
I'm still going to be in and out in the world of visual art. I've actually been putting more of my creative energy into the world of culinary art these past few months! I feel like DeviantART is not the space to spam food though, lmao. I can at least promise that I won't be giving up on visual art, like, ever.
Idk how many of you are still active here, but shout out to the cool memories on this site. This is still a good space to archive my works and check in on unique art pieces from everyone I watch.
I hope all of you are handling this pandemic in the best way you can, and that you're all still keeping some level of creativity in your lives!
See y'all later, dudes.
